Pantene is proud to support Women’s Aid, helping to extend Live Chat opening hours.

Heathy relationships are more important than ever right now, and you shouldn’t be afraid at home. If you need help or support you can contact Women’s Aid, the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children.

Women’s Aid support services include a Live Chat lifeline, the Survivors’ Forum, the No Woman Turned Away Project, the Survivor’s Handbook, Love Respect (a dedicated website for young people in their first relationships), the national Domestic Abuse Directory and their advocacy projects, help thousands of women and children every year.

Within the first two weeks of lockdown, there was a 41% increase in users visiting the Live Chat site. Since the lockdown has been extended by government and we expect to see a continued rise in need, Women’s Aid will redeploy current staff to enable the longer opening hours and better support survivors as a direct response to the effect the pandemic is having on women and children trapped with abuse. All Live Chat expert support workers have completed the extensive Women's Aid direct services training programme and are qualified to provide expert support.
